The Kool Blues second and final single was issued on Capsoul Records in 1974 right as Bill Moss’s Columbus, Ohio, powerhouse was going out of business. “Can We Try Love Again” finds John Primm and William Gilbert flexing their mid-tempo crossover muscles, while the flip “I Want To Be Ready” shows off the duo’s balladeering chops.
